Sesamstraat
Taking its cue from Sesame Street in the U.S., Sesamstraat, the Dutch version of the iconic children’s program, launched in the Netherlands and Belgium in 1976. Parents who grew up with Sesamstraat are sharing it with their own children. Favourite characters like Cookie Monster and Elmo bring out the kid in everyone. With engaging storylines and colorful characters, Sesamstraat is now one of the longest-running kids’ shows in the region. Reaching 6.7 million children daily, it is being broadcast every single morning from Monday till Saturday on NPO 3.
